Westley (Wez) Evans – BSc MSc Reg. MBACP MBPsS
Hi, I am a qualified therapist having completed a BSc in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I trained at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute in Nottingham; and my qualification is BACP accredited and validated by Coventry University. I also went on to complete an MSc in Psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University.
I have worked supporting others for nearly fifteen years now, and feel fortunate to have experience working in different areas; working in the community, within the education sector and in residential care. This has enabled me to support a wide variety of people, with differing needs and problems.
I have spent time working for local charities; supporting service users in their recovery from addictions; within primary care settings and GP surgeries; and in private practice, to the wider public around issues such as anxiety, depression, loss and trauma.
I carry public liability insurance and am a regustered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I work adhering to their code of conduct, attending regular clinical supervision for my work and also accessing my own personal therapy. I am an advocate for all the benefits one can reap, by working to better understand themselves and their processes; and aim to work with others to be able to do the same.
